This past winter provided numerous opportunities to turn these values into action. Our coffee— and yes, even our espresso martinis — helped support causes and events across the valley. Whether serving warm cups to chilly volunteers at the Animal Adoption Center or crafting espresso martinis at the Center for the Arts gala, these experiences underscored our belief that coffee can foster meaningful moments.
Education and youth sports hold a special place in our hearts, so we stepped up our involvement. We showed our appreciation for teachers during events at Mountain Academy and Jackson Hole Elementary, and cheered from the sidelines at Jackson Hole Youth Soccer tournaments. We were honored to support the Skating Club of Jackson Hole and the varsity soccer athletes of Jackson Hole Broncs, aiming to encourage these young people as they chase their dreams.
Our commitment also extended to broader community gatherings. Participating in the Jackson Hole Food & Wine Festival let us connect with our neighbors over our shared passion for good coffee and great food. These moments reinforce why we do what we do—coffee isn’t just our product; it’s our tool to strengthen community bonds.
In addition to offering our presence and our products, we also proudly supported local fundraisers with donations of coffee, gift cards, and contributions to causes ranging from Central Wyoming College to smaller nonprofit events throughout the valley. It’s our way of giving back to the community that continues to inspire us every day.
Hospitality is deeply woven into our identity. At Snake River Roasting Co., we don’t just serve coffee — we welcome people into our space and into our community. If you’ve been by our café near Town Square, you know we love greeting regulars by name and new visitors with genuine warmth.
We have infused a spirit of generosity into our team from the start, rooted in my (Mekki's) tradition of hospitality and care. Whether we’re preparing a single pour-over or catering an entire community event, the goal is always the same: to create an authentic, warm, and welcoming experience. Every interaction matters to us, because every person matters.
All these efforts — from community involvement to sustainability initiatives and genuine hospitality — are not new to us; they’re deeply embedded in our DNA. They guide our decisions and define our purpose as Jackson Hole’s hometown coffee roaster.
Our motto, “Coffee inspired by Jackson Hole,” truly reflects our mission. Every roast, every cup, every moment we share with our community reinforces why we’re here: to connect, inspire, and contribute in meaningful ways.
As we move forward, we’re excited to deepen these commitments even further. We’ll continue to look for new opportunities to support local causes, care for our environment, and extend hospitality to everyone who crosses our path.
